SEC Series: Ranked

1. Arkansas at LSU
This is the SEC home opener for the Tigers and it’s against a top 5 team. Yes, LSU is really good, and yes, Arkansas has injuries but it’s still baseball and crazier things have happened. I’m excited to see this LSU team, as they get better every time I see them.
Prediction: Tigers roll and take a back to back series over the top teams in the West.
2. Texas A&M at Tennessee
The battle of the two defending division champions. Yes, Tennessee drafted 10 guys and is 0-3, but it is still a Tony V led squad. They always perform when doubted and look for them to rebound against a struggling, injury riddled Texas A&M team who could be without Austin Bost.
Prediction: Tennessee Sweep
3. Missouri at South Carolina
These two are surprise teams of the weekend. Both teams sit at 3-0 and South Carolina only has 2 losses overall. South Carolina has a good staff, but the Tigers roughed by an arguably better Tennessee staff. This is a prove it series for both teams and will go on to stay out in front of Tennessee.
Prediction: South Carolina Sweep
4. Florida at Ole Miss
Two teams going opposite directions facing off here. Ole Miss got slapped around pretty good on the road against a great Vandy team. Florida took 2 of 3 from an up and coming Bama team. Look for Ole Miss to play better at home and Florida to struggle on their first trip outside the Sunshine State.
Prediction: Ole Miss 2 of 3
5. Kentucky at Bama
The 2 most surprising teams. Kentucky and Bama are combined 37-6 on the year. Kentucky sits at 3-0 and atop the East while Alabama dropped 2 close ones on the road to Florida. Feels like one of the biggest prove it series for the Wildcats as everyone still doubts them
Prediction: Kentucky 2 of 3
6. Vandy at Mississippi State
I went in great detail on the power rankings on my opinion on State so I will keep this brief. Vandy rolls early and often. Dude will be empty by the 5th on all games.
Prediction: Vandy Sweep
7. Georgia at Auburn
This is the worst series on the weekend and bottom 5 on the year. The shell of Georgia vs the shell of Auburn. The scary part is one of these teams will likely have a lead on the loser of Tennessee/Texas A&M.
Prediction: Auburn 2 of 3
