Louisville Tour De Spanks the Aggies

Louisville rolled into Houston sporting bright yellow warmups reading Tour De Defense. While Louisville fielded a perfect game, their hitting seemed to do most of the talking. Sporting a funeral fit of all black, Louisville took it to the Aggies both early and often. Behind an 8 run 6th inning, Louisville beat the aggies 14-5. Knapczyk and Payton set the tone early for the Cardinals as they each collected two hits. Mccoy and King also joined the multi-hit party as the Cards banged out 13.

Worth noting for the Aggies: Despite a 14 run hole, the Aggies never gave up. They had a 5 run 7th inning, including an Austin Bost 3 run homer into the Crawford Boxes.

The Cardinals will play TCU at 3:30 while Texas A&M will play the surprise 1-0 Rice Owls. Louisville and TCU played a midweek game that the Cardinals were able to win 9-8. Louisville is 6-11 against the Horned Frogs
